You will learn about such topics as entomology, landscape design, turfgrass, soils, fruits, and vegetables from Extension Agents and Specialists from NC State & NC A&T Universities. When: Wednesday, January 16, 2019, through Wednesday, May 1, 2019
Time: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $150.00
Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteer program is a national program of trained volunteers who work in partnership with their county N.C. Cooperative Extension offices to extend research-based information throughout the community. The services they provide can consist of answering gardening questions by telephone, conducting plant clinics, school gardening, and other activities that promote gardening.
Subsequent advanced Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteer training sessions and workshops will assist you to become a more knowledgeable gardener. Additionally, you will receive many publications and related materials to help you stay current on gardening information and methods, be afforded the opportunity to attend workshops around the State and international conferences, travel with other Extension Master Gardeners℠ of Cabarrus County to interesting gardens and nurseries, and meet people who share your interest in gardening and desire to help others.
