"IT TAKES TEAMWORK"Boys & Girls Homes at Lake Waccamaw presents "ECA DAY 2025"

Travel provided through Rose Chauffeured Transportation (Charlotte) with a rest stop midway to Lake Waccamaw. Upon arrival at BG Homes, the children and staff will be providing tours of the campus, a hot dog/hamburger lunch, arts& crafts and a chance for us to engage with these great children. This is a wonderful educational opportunity to see how the lives of children are being influenced in positive ways. For many years the NC Extension & Community Association FOUDATION has been supportive of the work at the Boys & Girls Homes of NC at Lake Waccamaw. At the April South Central District meeting held in Concord, attendees had a chance to hear the Homes' spokesman and visit the information booth. Several Cabarrus County ECA clubs have financially contributed and the RIMER CLUB is hosting this day trip to see the "workings of the campus". Costs to provide all the needs of children/youth are quite enormous; therefore, this is a fund-raising effort by the club.
