In partnership with the Sanford Farmers’ Market, the Lee County Family and Consumer Sciences Program is featuring a new local foods program called, Market Menu. These weekly recipes will inspire you to taste local by shopping local. You will learn how to shop from our market vendors to craft a dish that brings out flavors from the farm. Each week featured on the Sanford Farmers’ Market Facebook page is the recipe and vendor map of where to find the produce used.

We have many vendors who have herbs, vegetables, fruits, and meats that can all be used to craft a tasty recipe! We believe people can feel connected to each other through the food we eat, the cultures we appreciate, and the farmers we support. Tell us how you like to eat local!
