How about becoming a “Nutrition Expert” and making not only your lifestyle healthier but also empowering those around you? Do you have a personal passion project that you want to see become a reality in Cabarrus County?

Now is your time to shine!

Goals:

To network youth leaders from across Cabarrus County. 

To engage teens in local government

To educate teens about opportunities in the community

Teen Summit Report to Elected Officials.

Who:

All high school teens that live in Cabarrus County. Hosted by the Cabarrus County Youth Commission, a 4-H club of N.C. Cooperative Extension – Cabarrus County Center in partnership with Cabarrus County local government.

What:

A FREE Teen Leadership Summit to bring teens together to network, learn and share ideas. Check out our agenda.2024 Youth Summit Meeting Agenda

When:

March 23rd 1-5 p.m. Check in opens at 12:30 p.m.

Where:

Cabarrus Arena and Events Center

Why:

So you can educate youth on the importance of nutrition! So your voice is heard! So our elected officials and other adults in our community hear what nutritional concerns teens are facing in Cabarrus County! So you can learn about the processes in place in our local government. Network and build relations with youth in the community
