The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cabarrus County Center is an active office with many educational and engaging programs.
In order to provide Cabarrus County residents with the highest quality events and resources, we rely on volunteers to assist our team. Volunteers are critical to the success and continuation of events and programs such as 4-H clubs, Ag Business Day, field days, Cabarrus County Fair, Spring and Herb Fest and many others. If you are interested in volunteering your time, willingness, resources, expertise, and passion in any capacity please let us know!

Some of our volunteer programs at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cabarrus County Center will be working with youth. We want to promote the safety of youth participating in Extension programs and activities through a comprehensive compliance program including the oversight of policies, protocols, and trainings to provide a safe and healthy environment for minor participants.
