The Cabarrus Cattlemens Association is excited to announce its Fall 2025 meeting schedule, featuring a dynamic lineup of speakers and topics relevant to today’s cattle producers and industry professionals. Meetings will be held monthly from October through March at The Farmstead in Mt. Pleasant, NC.

Fall 2025 Meeting Schedule

  • October 20th
    Speaker: Dr. Sanjok Poudel, NC A&T University
    Topic: Silvopastures with Cattle
    Dr. Poudel will discuss the integration of trees, forage, and livestock, exploring the benefits of silvopasture systems for sustainable cattle production.

  • November 17th
    Speaker: Currey Nobles, NC State University
    Topic: Meat Processing
    Currey Nobles will provide insight into modern meat processing techniques and how producers can add value through on-farm or local processing solutions.

  • December 15th
    Speaker: Lauren Bell, Trans Ova Genetics
    Topic: Reproductive Technologies
    Lauren Bell will cover advancements in cattle reproductive technologies and how producers can improve herd genetics and efficiency.

  • Time: All meetings begin at 6:00 p.m.

  • Location: The Farmstead – 8063 Mauney Rd, Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

  • Dinner: Free for members; $15 for non-members
