Bring science to life in your classroom with the Cabarrus County 4-H Spring Embryology Program! This hands-on educational experience allows students to observe the development of a chicken embryo and experience the excitement of hatching chicks.
We provide embryology kits and supplies to help educators complete this engaging, hands-on learning project with their students.
Registration Information
Registration is open for the 2027 Spring Embryology Program! We will offer three sessions:
- Sessions 1 & 2: Intended for public schools, charter schools, and private schools.
- Session 3: Intended for homeschool families, summer school educators, and community partners.
Each participating teacher must complete their own individual registration form. This ensures we have accurate contact information for every participating educator.
Registration is available through Eventbrite. If a session reaches capacity, a waitlist will be available.
Required Virtual Training — New This Year!
All participants are required to attend the virtual training assigned to their registered session.
Attendance will be taken, and participation in the designated training is mandatory to pick up your embryology kit. Participants who do not attend their assigned training will not be eligible to participate in the program.
