Applications for local awards can be found as follows:
Outstanding Club Scrapbook Award: Scrapbook Judges Score Sheet. Club will earn 4-H scrapbook kit. Deadline: January 8, 2026
Outstanding Project Completion Club Award: Will be judged on percent (%) of enrolled club members who turn in completed project records. Club members will be recognized at Achievement Night. Deadline: January 8, 2025
Pam Outen "Community Service" Award - $50 4-H donation to the clubs choice of charity. Given to the club with the most documented community service hours. This award is sponsored by the Cabarrus 4-H Foundation. See their website for award application and details.

The William E. McCrary Scholarship: Offered to any Cabarrus County FFA or 4-H graduating high school senior member who is planning a career in some aspect of Agribusiness. Agribusiness encompasses a large variety of business and science-related fields including but not limited to Environmental Science, Horticulture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Fisheries Science, Food Science, Nutrition, Machinery, Engineering, Information Technology, Consumer Science and other agricultural related fields. Those students having applied to and/or been accepted to an accredited institute of higher education and who are in good standing at their high school can receive qualifications, procedures, application form and recipient responsibilities.
