Basket Weaving - Patriotic Drum Basket

Stars, Stripes, and Stakes: A Semi-Quincentennial Celebration

Instructors: Brenda Long and Kathy Valentine

Celebrate the USA’s 250th Birthday by weaving a piece of history! Join us for a special workshop where we’ll blend traditional craftsmanship with patriotic flair. Whether you're a seasoned weaver or a total beginner, you’ll leave with a beautiful, hand-crafted heirloom to display at your Fourth of July festivities. Beyond making a basket, this is a chance to unplug and connect with a craft that has been part of American history since before 1776. It’s about slow-making, community, and marking a once-in-a-lifetime milestone for our nation.
