Home Food Preservation: Introduction to Canning

This class is designed for anyone interested in learning more about safely canning food at home. It will cover appropriate canning methods, basics of canning, and safe tested recipes. It is perfect for those who are new to home food preservation or those who have experience but are looking for a refresher.
Note: This class does not include hands-on canning experience. If you wish to attend a hands-on canning workshop, you may find and register for them through Cabarrus County Rec 1 at the link below under "Family and Consumer Sciences":
