Cook Smart, Eat Smart Cooking School (Cook Smart 2026)
Cook Smart, Eat Smart is a hands-on, four-week program designed to teach you the essential skills to prepare delicious, healthy, and budget-friendly meals. Whether you're a kitchen novice or looking to refine your routine, this course provides the tools to eat better without spending excessive amounts of time or money. Participants will receive recipes and enjoy dinner with each session.
Program OverviewDuration: 4 Weeks (One 2.5-hour session per week), meeting each Monday from August 3rd - August 24th, 2026 from 5:30 - 8:00 PM in the Cooperative Extension's Pamela C. Outen Teaching Kitchen.
Focus: Cooking techniques, knife skills, meal planning, and nutrition.
Goal: Master the art of simple, healthy cooking through "smart" techniques that maximize nutrition and flavor while minimizing waste.
