Collapse ▲N.C. Cooperative Extension has three multi-county agents dedicated to serving the needs of commercial ornamental greenhouse and nursery producers. Stacey Jones is the Area Specialized Agent for the central region of North Carolina. She has responsibilities in 28 counties. Stacey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Plant Biology from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in Entomology from New Mexico State University. Plants and insects have been an interest since childhood, and she has been working with them professionally for over twenty years, fifteen of these with the Cooperative Extension Service.
The Central Region’s greenhouse and nursery program is here to help with growing issues such as insects, diseases, and weeds. For more information, please contact Stacey at stacey_jones@ncsu.edu or by phone at 704-223-8976.
