Do you have a youth ages 8–18 who loves poultry—or wants to learn more? Join us for an upcoming interest meeting to learn about Cabarrus County 4-H poultry programs and competitive opportunities!

This meeting is for youth interested in joining a poultry judging or avian bowl team. Participants will meet weekly to build their knowledge of poultry science, including breeds, production, anatomy, and industry practices—all while developing teamwork and public speaking skills.

These teams will prepare to compete in the NC 4-H Poultry Judging Contest held in July at NC State University.

Whether your child already has experience with poultry or is just getting started, this is a great opportunity to get involved, learn new skills, and be part of a fun and supportive team.
