Cabarrus County Youth Commission

In partnership with the Cabarrus County Board of Commission, 22 seats are available for this citizenship action group. Teens work to bring awareness to youth related issues and learn more about local government to bring information to their schools. Two seats are available for area public high schools and four “At-Large” seats are available for non-public and non-traditional school settings. Applications are accepted ONLINE all year with an emphasis to fill all seats by September.

County Program

As part of our county 4-H program, youth can also participate in public speaking  and presentation contest, talent show, expressive arts celebration and achievement night.  Joining a club will open even more doors!
