Details:
The 21 week Extension Master Gardener training program begins on January 7, 2026 and ends with graduation on June 10, 2026. The program is a combination of video lessons and in-person, hands on workshops, held on alternating weeks. See the program schedule below. (or click here if you want to put it on another page)
Workshop Location: Cabarrus County Extension Office, 715 Cabarrus Avenue W, Concord, NC 28027.
Workshop Days/Times: Workshops are held every other Wednesday, from 1-4 p.m., see the schedule below.
Program Topics: Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Composting, Botany, Weeds, Native Plants, Propagation, Small Fruits, Tree Fruits, Nuts, Vegetables, Landscape Design, and Wildlife.
Next Steps:
Submit your online application no later than November 3, 2025. If accepted into the course, you will be notified no later than November 14, 2025, and provided with payment instructions. The course registration fee is $150 and is due by December 1st, 2023.
